20km Sunday Training Run
I've just returned from a 20km point-to-point Sunday run. I was dropped off up at North Haven and then made my way back down to Glenelg, South Australia. It was a really nice morning and I ran a bit later than usual, so it was warmer than I was expecting (between 22-25C). I carried 2x 4oz water bottles in my Fuel Belt (filled with Gatorade) and planned to drink water at drinking fountains along the beachfront, however I didn't come across too many and I ended up being without water for a distance. I finally found a drinking fountain down at West Lakes and wouldn't you know it, it didn't work! I got back down to the beachfront a km or two later and came across a tap much to my relief.
Anyhow, got a bit dehydrated which made for a harder run than it needed to be, but otherwise a nice scenic run. I'm now recovering with a hot cross bun and my chocolate Easter Bunny is chilling in the fridge!
Check out my run data below. I've made this run data public so you can click through and view more details on the Garmin Site.
