My Training Program
After looking at various programs on the internet, and reading a couple of books, here is the program I have decided to use for my first marathon.
I have based my program on Tom Holland's Intermediate plan. This incorporates four days of running per week (which is slightly different to traditional plans which are often based on five days per week). This plan also emphasises strength training and core workouts as key components.
I've scheduled a Half Marathon in the first half of the plan, which I'll run as a training day.
